Camera, Photographer, Logo Cookies

The weather here has been amazing!  It's the end of September and the temp outside is 90!  Typically, it's cool around here for the beginning of Fall.  Believe it or not, the kids were outside in the sprinklers yesterday.

Unfortunately the warm weather doesn't put me in the Autumn mood.  I want to wear boots and sweaters and drink pumpkin spice coffee!  I'll be posting some Fall cookies and of course Halloween cookies next week, because warm weather or not, October is almost here!

In the meantime, I still have oodles of Summer treats I haven't posted.  I'll be getting a few photos up here and on my fb page.  If you haven't already, be sure to like my fb page - there will be a holiday giveaway in coming months.   Happy Fall!

The camera and logo cookies have hand painted details (watermark logo) made with Americolor Soft Gel Paste Food Color.  I prefer to use Americolor for most painted details.  I mix it with water (occasionally I use vodka) to get the right consistency and color.  When I'm making watercolor backgrounds I use quite a bit of water to blend the colors.  Vodka dries too quickly in my experience to blend.   For the lenses I first painted on silver and then added the other colors on top.  For the black, I use airbrush color that does not need to be diluted. Americolor Black Gel tends not to dry fully and smear.   Black and White coloring products reviews coming soon!

Products used:
Americolor Deep Pink Gel Paste
Americolor Electric Green Gel Paste
Americolor Teal Gel Paste
Americolor Super Black Airbrush Color
Silver Pearl Dust
